Most students have a lot more events and other things to do then just school work. While education may be a greatly rewarding, students tend to chase a degree as a means to an end. An significant consequence would be facing a job that requires a student to demonstrate the knowledge he/she has gain in school. If the student has cheated his whole way through school. Then that student will not be able to perform their task required by his or her employer or boss. In the case of the nursing student, the consequences of ignorance can even be fatal. For example, if a nursing student choose to cheat by handing in an essay about the certain medications people get for different injuries. The student might not know the true answer on who get what and why. A mistake in the medication can possibly lead to a patient’s death. Which is a consequence most cheating students do not consider while they are cheating. Another example would be a student who is getting an education degree. If this student choose to cheat throughout college then he or she will not be fully prepared to teach others on the subject. Which makes the teacher look very un-educated and doesn’t help the
