Do what you love by Steve Jobs infers that you should do what you love no matter what. There are three opinion by college students that break down and analyze with there own opinions and information to back there points. These are no the best analysis and heres why.
“Your time is limited, so done waste it living someone else’s life”. Steve jobs explains that he would not have been as successful as he was and have been able to keep going if he didn’t love what he did. jobs clearly states that” the only way to do great work is to love what you do”. I believe this is true in many cases because if you do what you love your are more inclined to be more dedicated and truly value the time you put in and the final outcome. If you truly didn’t love what you do you are less likely inclined to be as productive because your just doing it for the money or simply because you’ve been brainwashed to do it.
These three students do not all agree with Jobs motto “ Do what you love”. Carl Mc Coy, Miya Tokumitsu, and Jeff Harden each have a different thoughts on the subject. “Do what you love” disguises the fact that being able to choose a career primarily for personal reward is an unmerited privilege, a sign of that persons socioeconomic class. tokumitsu thought about all the workers that allowed jobs his position as the CEO of Apple. The labor jobs that allowed jobs ideas to be established and manufactured. “For those forced unto unlovable work, its a different story. Under the DWYL credo, labor that is done out of motives or needs other than love is not only demeaned but erased”. She stated that all the “socially necessary work is erased from the thought process of Jobs speech. The world cannot function with the less favorable labor jobs being exerted and
