Computers and Smartphones are a part of almost everybody’s life. The use of these devices has made life for many people easier and more enjoyable. But some people may wonder, how do the application on your device, or the device itself, work? The minds behind these creations are called software developers. Software developers create software that is found on every computer, without them, you would not be able to use anything on a computer. These creators do many actions in order that the user can use the software.
There are many things that can be coded by software developers. The place where these creators work will determine what they are going to code. For example, if software developers work for a company like Activision® they will most likely code games. In 2015, a software developer got paid about $100,000 a year. The jobs available for this position are expected to grow from 2014 to 2024 by 17%. Improvements in technology and new devices make new jobs available for software developers. Big companies that deal with technology, some being Microsoft or Google, are where most of the jobs for software developers come from. The companies need people to create or adjust software that they have or that they need.
For the most part, software developers are very important for the use of technology. Everything that you see or use on your electronic device has been coded by a software developer. In the 21st century technology has taken over, so coding is a needed thing. The job that these creators do is very important for everyone that uses technology.
