We cannot allow children to eat foods that have been refrigerated and re heated a thousand of times to eat. There has to be changes made in school lunches. Every parent wants the best for their child, especially for them to be in the best healthy condition. Most parents don’t even know what is given to their child for lunch. The simple fact that it is free makes them happy. This problem is a major issue for the health of children and students because most of them will eat chips and candy instead.
Apparently, the government only focuses on its economy and not on the heath of its citizens. As long as they are making money, they are happy. They rather make money and have children suffering of obesity and diabetes then putting the economy at risk. As we can see its all materialism. The government needs to invest more on the school lunches. The United States Department of Agriculture cost around $9 billion. They give public schools cash for every meal they serve. Very little of this money goes to the food because most of it goes to the custodial service that heats the food in the cafeteria.

There has been times where the milk of juices are still frozen or even the fruit as well. For these reasons students rather not eat at all the school lunch. Instead in order to “satisfy” there hunger they buy chips or candy. In school we count with a salad bar. The problem with it is that there is only one. We don’t have the time to wait in line for a long time since it always gets packed. Some students don’t even eat at all because of how gorse the idea of eating lunch food is.
