Why Do Romeo And Juliet Understand Their Parents

In our society, kids do not understand why parents act the way they do, and parents clearly do understand the kids. In the article, “Not So Happily Ever After” the author (huh?) describes Romeo and Juliet as teens who think that are responsible enough to not consult their families about their love. It is important to understand that if Romeo and Juliet had talked to their parents about their relationship, the outcome of their story would have been different. Even heading the advice of those around them could have changed their fates. What if Juliet had listened to her parents? What if Romeo did not go to the ball? These actions all could have led to a better life for everyone involved. Romeo, Juliet, and other teens, believe that parents do not understand what it means to be a teenager.. They believe that their parents do not remember what it is to be a teenage or have completely forgotten that their parents were once teenagers.. However,most parents understand a teen’s life,it is that just teens do not see it.
