Hi Cedric, Great post for this week’s discussion. I agree, I think that police officers have one of the hardest jobs. As you mentioned, officers never know what they are being faced with when they receive calls. However, when they arrive at the scene the officers are forced to use police discretion when trying to resolve the issue which might causes them to use force. Therefore, in my opinion I don’t think that police officers have become more violent and less ethical. I think that officers have job to do and sometimes it requires them to take actions in which the media or community may see as irrational. Overall, great post and I enjoyed reading.
