When thinking of these as a form of art I see my body as a blank canvas, you use it to your liking. It is your temple you do with it what you feel you should. When I say tattoos are art to me I mean it. I am an artsy person and I love art for its beauty and uniqueness. My tattoos that I have are art to me because they say something about me and show who I am as a person. They are an art because the tattoo I got for my grandpa I made myself and put it together. I had it all planned and drawn out. This is a very special and important tattoo to me. My infinity sign I got from something else, but the reason I got it is because it fits me well and I go by that verse all the time. I love art, art is everything to me and is something I can do on my free time to get away from everything. This is a way I can do that. I express my love for art on my body and the beauty of it, and not just in painting I do or drawings I have done. Tattoos come I many shapes and sizes. People do not have to agree with them or like them but they make us who we are. Just because we do have them does not mean we are a bad person, or a bad mother, or an abusive person. That is what people portray us to be and that is not the truth. Even though they do not know us they still label us because we have tattoos. When I see people with tattoos I think of the beauty it must have in their eyes and what the meaning of them are to those
