Due to the lack of understanding and severe ignorance in government higher official, the Planned Parenthood program is at risk of been defunded from the federal budget. Women from all states may lose their coverage for their “women care”. There are many misconceptions that authorities as high as the current president, do not know they are false and its effect is removing the program from the budget. In the case of pregnancies, women should have the decision of keeping their babies or not. The government is trying to make abortion illegal, but what if a woman does not want to have the baby due to a critical health diagnose to the baby like a syndrome? Why making that developing live suffer an entire life? Even that this cases are a very small percentage, 3 percent, of services performed in this clinics, government assumes that is the most popular service offered, and because they are against abortion, they are against the Planned Parenthood Program. …show more content…
As the article “9 Things People Get Wrong About Planned Parenthood” by Dayna Evans says, “men can visit clinics for prostate, colon, and testicular cancer screenings, vasectomies, male infertility screenings, and sexual-health services” (Evans 2). If men do not want to take advantage of taking care of their health at an affordable price it’s their decision. Usually women go more to the doctor because they tend to be more openly to suggestions, in this case, more understandable of their health conditions and agreeable of taking medicine to resolve the health
