Why do people commit suicide? This is a question that has been asked several times in the past, but no one has been able to answer this question. Suicide is common among all the different categories of people. There is no specific race, gender, or ethnicity with a definite greater amount of suicide rates. Most people think that suicide is the answer to all of their problems. Most people do not realize that suicide is bringing them more pain when the time comes for them to answer to God. Suicide has claimed many lives in this world when they could have found an alternate solution. Most people commit suicide for various different reasons, but three main reasons are because of relationship problems, family issues, and mental illness. When a person thinks about being in a relationship with someone, they think that they will never have hard times. People think that relationships are meant to be perfect with no arguments or disagreements. A couple will fight verbally and physically for a short amount of time then the fights will become so bad that suicide may …show more content…
Family disputes make people want to kill themselves as well as others. Since most people do not want to go to jail for killing someone, they commit suicide instead. When families argue because of simple, irrelevant situations, the people involved in the argument say things that can hurt the other one’s feelings. Verbally abusing people during an argument can make them kill one’s self in an instance. Suicide rates are higher in teens who have divorced parents or parents who constantly argue. When the teens become exhausted from hearing their parents go at each other’s heads, they decide to take themselves out of the situation by committing suicide.
