Why Do People Cheat On Your Significant Other?

There are two examples of cheating that I'm going to be using the scientific method on. The first example I am going to use is the act of cheating in school. The problem in this situation is that they are trying to get an advantage on something that is unfair. An example of cheating is getting your paper off the internet(plagiarism) or getting the answers from somebody else in your class for a test. A hypothesis for this is they cheat because of the fact that they have the pressure on them for making good grades. In research it says 24,000 kids at 70 different high schools, 64 percent of them admitted to cheating on a test, 58 percent admitted to plagiarism and 95 percent of them admitted in order to some form of cheating whether that was plagiarism, cheating …show more content…
The questions would be, What was the reason for cheating on your significant other? And Do you think your partner will forgive you for what you have done? People always once a cheater always a cheater. I agree with that saying because the people who have confessed on cheating say that they have done it more than once. If they cheat again it depends on why they are cheating. In research 98 percent of men and 80 percent of women fantasize in the neighborhood of someone else than their current partner. The question is why do they take such emotional and practical risks? Some of the reasons why people cheat are; lack of emotion,falling out of love, falling in love with someone else, wanting revenge on your partner and you are curious and want a new experience. The conclusion of this is people cheat because of so many reasons that I have stated before. It is not morally right to cheat but people still do it. Honestly when people cheat they may have a really good reason for doing it, but when your with someone your with them for a reason. Cheating over all in both circumstances is totally wrong.
