Why Do Parents Need Censorship?

Do I think parents should be able to use censorship with their children to block out anything that is offensive until they are ready? Yes, I think parents should have that choice. Would I want my parent to use it with me? No, not really because if so I would not be as informed as all of my other friends would be if their parents didn´t use censorship. Should parents have the choice? Of course I would think parents should have the choice of censorship. If they want to raise their children that way that is all their business not mine. I wouldn't want my kids to be under that because they probably wouldn't fit in as much as other kids who´s parents didn´t use censorship to protect them.

Would I want to be under censorship? Um, probably not. Maybe for some things that my parents know I shouldn't and wouldn't be looking at. My parents probably would think differently than I would though because I know they just want to protect me from the cruel and awful ways of society these days but I just would not see why I would want to be censored on social media or any other websites. …show more content…
Children 13 or above (which is a teenager) I think should get some freedom to look at the internet and their social media freely without their parents down their neck all the time.
