Why Do Immigrants Come To America?

I think that immigration in most ways is bad. I think that if you come from a country stay in that country. Don’t come to America in hopes for something better. Immigrants in my opinion are pretty much terrorist. Especially if they are from like Europe and Asia. If they are from Canada though that’s a different story. Canadians are ok in the U.S. because they know how to speak English and they act just like other Americans.
Immigration is a huge thing in the United States. Immigrants come from all over the world. There are a lot of immigrants that come to the U.S. for schooling or for work, but in order for them to be legally over here they have to get a visa, either work or visitation. This means that because of Obama becoming president he has been deporting a lot of people, “With the Obama administration deporting illegal immigrants at a record pace, the president has said the government is going after ‘criminals, gang bangers, people who are hurting the community, not after students, not after folks who are here just because they’re trying to figure out how to feed their families.’” So, therefore it clearly states that the government is going after certain types of illegal immigrants. Not all of them. Most of the illegal immigrants that get caught end up being caught by either minor infractions such as traffic violations, or by major infractions such as drug dealings, “The records show the largest increases were deportations involving illegal immigrants whose most serious offense was listed as a traffic violation, including driving under the influence.” (Source #2).
