School- One area that I work hard in is my schoolwork, my school work is one of the most important things in my life. This fact causes me to assume the role of leader in many group projects, which I actually enjoy doing. Helping others and working with other people to achieve a set goal is something that I genuinely enjoy.
Swimming- If I had to pick the most influential extracurricular activity in terms of developing my leadership skills, it would be swimming. Swimming takes up about half of my life during the school year because it is a full time commitment, being on the swim team as well …show more content…

Conclusion- Being a part of the National Honor Society would give me a further opportunity to advance my leadership and people skills. Also, NHS would give me a reason and open up ways for me to give back to my community. Getting accepted into NHS would be a great way for me to broaden my horizons and explore new things while also learning essential skills I need to go out into the adult world. I am thankful to even be eligible to join NHS and I appreciate the opportunities presented to me, thank you for your
