It was a story about how he attained his job and how going on his mission trip, helped him complete the interview process of his current job and step up to where he is now. I decided to attend Florida A&M University (FAMU) for a variety of reasons, including the location of its campus, because I was offered a full scholarship, and of course, because of the pharmacy program. Moreover, I believe that I am the ideal candidate for being a part of FAMU’s pharmacy program. To begin, FAMU is located in Tallahassee, Florida, a city that I had wanted to attend college in since I was in elementary school. Tallahassee is a city of containing and surrounded by many events and opportunities, so no matter your preferred “scene,” you are likely to be able to find something you do. Another upside to FAMU’s location is that it also places me very close to my mother and the rest of my maternal family, who I had previously not gotten to see almost since elementary school.…

The money would be beneficial to me because any aid that I receive would be less money that I have out of pocket and would allow me to pursue my goal of not only undergraduate school, but also graduate school. My future plans include graduating from Union City Area High School on June 7th and I then intend on attending Robert Morris University near Pittsburgh, PA.…

Throughout my high school career, I have acquired a great amount of experience in preparation for many of the aspects of a successful college career. For example, I have developed a deeper understanding of the value of an education and have worked hard to receive money to fund my education. My family has always taught independence; thus, obtaining the funds for my education has been solely my responsibility. I have no other help, except scholarships and financial aid. I feel this scholarship suits me because I am not one to give up until my goals are attained and, currently, my goal is to have little to no student debt when graduating from college.…

Personally paying my way through college is just the start of the many complexities I endure as a young adult. It’s mentally challenging to put aside the worry and stress of paying for my particular degree, all while wondering if I’ll even be able to have some saved up for my career after college. My major is Acting in the Bachelor of Fine Arts and that alone is quite a risky major within the college and out in the real world. It is a dream that guarantees less of a secure, consistent and long lasting career, but I truly love theatre with all my heart and those thoughts are the reason why I’m sharpening my skills at the University of Arizona. As of now, I am relying on multiple scholarships, some that support me for one school year in which regardless I am forever grateful and others that support me as long as I am reaccepted in to the acting program.…
