Because of a lifelong passion for teaching children is the reason why I teach Sunday school. And people would commend my goal because of the passion and patience that I possess when it comes to dealing with children.
The people who are involved are me, my Sunday school class and the rest of the congregation. My role and responsibility is clearly stands out from the other teachers because I work with the children, which takes much effort to keep them attentive. After prayer, I proceed to say them the title of the lesson and what scripture we are coming from then depending on the number of scriptures I assign students to read them aloud. Finally, I begin to explain the lesson before the class is over I like to prepare my class to stand in front of the church to answer the review questions so since all the teachers know what questions will be asked I ask the children to see what they know and help them understand the topic more if they answered

I even started a choir group with some of the kids at the church. Every third Sunday the kids would sing a new song that I've taught them throughout the month. My next work with the kids is to create a praise dance group. So far I've been teaching some of the little girls' dances and have been looking for uniforms for the group. Ever since I've become a Sunday school teacher, I have made a big difference in these kids.…

The guide provides introductory story on the weekly Bible theme, sufficient biblical background materials, and variety of activities in which to apply the biblical theme to real life situation. It also encourages the teachers to make outside readings, giving specific commentary and outside materials to read, and to use online resources. It assures the teacher that the curriculum material is sufficient and at the same time admonishes the teacher to make further study , quoting the Scripture in King James version, “to study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15). I enjoyed reading the articles on the website http://transformingteachers.org/en/articles/biblical-integration/stories-for-teachers because it gave be ideas on how, when teaching lessons I could use real life people from our past to help infuse a biblical worldview without violating any public school laws of separation of church and state. I love history and having the idea to use famous men and women from history to tell their Faith story is a great way for me to share Christ with my students in a historical way. Finally, I want to show the love of Christ to my students daily in everything I do not just my lesson plans. Psalms 127:3 (NIV) says, “Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.” While I may work at a public school and not feel like I can share my faith openly, there is no law saying that I cannot show God’s love through my actions and speech at school and that is something I will continue to do as a teacher in my lessons and…

I started teaching bible classes at my church when I was in middle school and I quickly realized how rewarding it was when I could get a child to think about a concept and get them involved in learning. I could also make children feel good about themselves and help their self-esteem, which is something I have always struggled with. This made me realize that if I could accomplish all of this on a small scale, I could do this on a larger scale in a real classroom setting. I was strongly supported by my family to become a teacher because I had the same love and desire to teach that they did. My mom was my biggest influence because she taught me how to be a teacher from an early age.…

In our Catholic school the teachers are working, within the context of our curriculum, to expose children to age appropriate catechesis and introduce them to Church doctrine. This fundamental knowledge is a critical component to living a life with Christ. There is no life with Christ without a knowledge of the chief teachings that comprise our system of beliefs. In addressing this responsibility, teachers will teach the Creation, the Life of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, Mary, the Mother of God, the Church, and the Mass. Teachers will also discuss with students the lives of saints, feast days and Holy Days of Obligation.…

I have been working in the early childhood field for almost 10 years. I have worked my way up from teacher’s assistant to Director. I’ve loved working with children in the classroom. In fact I thought there was nothing better than being in my small Christian preschool, which was until I had to move for my husband’s work. During the year we were away, I worked a few different preschool jobs that helped enhance my skills as an educator but it wasn’t until we returned that I truly found God’s calling for my career.…

Introduction Infinitely imperative to contemporary Christian faith, Bible study “involves engaging the mind and focusing attention on Scripture in an attempt to understand and apply truth to every part of my life”. Only through Bible study can we learn about God and become more like Christ. Through the Bible itself God encourages us to “meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful” (Josh 1:8). Though emphasis on Bible study has fluctuated throughout history, it remains as essential today as in Old Testament times.…

It is this truth that forces me to rightly divide the text. I am diligent in my sermon preparation, trying to discern what the Lord has to say to my people. Another strength I have is discipline. By God’s grace I have developed a lifestyle of devotion to the Lord. It is important for me to spend time with the Lord, allowing him to speak to my heart before I can go and preach to…
