Then sophomore year I got my act together join the baseball, so I would have the motivation to do good in school & get the right grades. At the end of the school year I finished with perfect grades getting A 's in most of my classes. I don 't ever like to quit the feeling of quitting is a horrible feeling and to face the fact that I quit is something I wouldn 't like to live with. When you put those two things together, I feel like I can do anything I put my mind too, because I know and don 't want to quit. The areas that I need improvement are learning how to stop getting distracted by thing in and out of school. In school, I get distracted by friends and just not getting the motivation to do my work isn 't always there for me because I often get lazy with things. The things that get me distracted out of school are sports and family, sports get me distracted because the practicing and the games gets me tired then to go home sometimes I say forget the work and go to sleep. Family gets me distracted sometimes because I 'm a big family person and love spending time with my family and then I forget to do my work. Those are my strengths and the areas I need to improve I love my strengths, but really need to improve on my

"Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty and persistence" I have had many ups and downs over the course of my life thus far. One specific example of this took place during my freshman year of high school. When I started high school it was very challenging for me, partially due to the fact that; during this time, I was lazy, unmotivated and did not really take school seriously. This by far is one of my biggest regrets to this day. Who would ever think that not trying during my freshman year would continue to follow me throughout the course of my academic career.…

Honestly, I’ll come right out and admit that I have never been the Detroit Lion’s number one fan, or any football fan for that matter. Sure, I had technically gone to each of the homecoming games both years in high school, but only for the sole excuse of being able to put some red war paint on my face and attempt to catch up with some friends. The only exposure I had to the sport was walking through the doors of Phase Three during cross country season. Day after day, I was forced to push through groups of teenage guys reeking with a putrid stench of dried sweat, rotting eggs, and grass stains; the smell in itself was enough to make my eyes water.…

People coming from a different planet would think every day things we do in life are weird. What we have adapted to and think are normal look very weird to others who haven’t seen people doing things like this. Such as someone who has never shaved before would think that is very odd to shave your beard. Or someone who has never seen a drive threw would think it’s weird to have people have food handed out the window. “Throw me to the wolves and I will return leading the pack” Unknown I can relate to this quote because it’s just like when someone is being mean to you, and about that you learn something that you are much strong then they say you aren't, but when they come back to say something you are much stronger and you can handle them. Also why I chose this quote because it’s like you are proving someone wrong like you can do it when someone is saying you can’t do it. Another reason why I chose this quote is because it is worded very nicely and it gives the meaning of what it means away when you understand the concept if this quote. I think this quote means that you can handle…

That was embarrassing I love the game of basketball, even when I score in the other team’s basket. In my defense, I was only six years old and it was my first time being on a basketball team.
