Why Do I Apologize In There Eyes Were Watching God

Decent Essays
I apologize for leaving, I wasn't sure what to do. I didn't mean to be rude or careless.
In terms of my essay, I'm almost done. I haven't been as focused as I'd like to be, but I will turn it in. Specifically, I am about 3/4 of the way done. More specifically, I'm at about 1,600 words-ish. Content-wise, I'm writing about question #2 and There Eyes Were Watching God. If I have any questions I will definitely ask you. Again, I am sorry and I also apologize for any inconvenience my late essay may, or will, have caused.

Thank You,
Melorie

The first chapter in How To Read Literature Like A Professor is based on the vital knowledge of how to identify a quest based on a series of given details. The author, Mr. Foster, starts off by telling the reader to picture a young boy running an errand for his mother. He then builds on the plot by giving a few details of his teenage life, such as the girl he likes, the boy he despises, and the dog he escapes from. This misshapen short story seems like it might not go anywhere, but this is when the author’s main claim is expressed. Mr. Foster claims that this ordinary plot line is actually the foundation of a quest due to its incorporation of all the key elements of a quest.…

Unfortunately for personal reasons, I was not able to complete this assignment by the due date. In order to not fail other courses (whose presentations were not due on that day) I had to sacrifice the presentation of this essay. I recognized that a ‘Domino effect’ would happen with the other assignments if I devoted the necessary time to that assignment. If I could change something, it would be to think twice before taking three classes for one summer session, so I can give my whole attention to only one or two courses.…

Based on the anticipation guide I feel as if The Eye Were Watching God will be about a lady that has made huge accomplishments that was a task of a man and people underestimated her. Some of the things such as “a women’s place is in the home” may be some of the beliefs that most men had and most of the women’s mindset that they had in that day of time. I also feel like this story will be about a testimony that she may have that she wanted to share that became very impact. I use the term testimony because it seems that she has some type of religion because she use the term “God” in her title. She also may share some of the things that she had to go through to get to the point that she is at now.…
