Why Do Homework Don T Get Me Wrong

The unbearable nagging, boring lectures, dreadful homework, useless projects, foolish drama, and the famous " timeouts" were created in a prison or what most people call, school. Don't get me wrong, but most of the information your teachers make sure they plant in your heads will be of no worth in this world when all you need to know is how to make it by. I never liked school, from the constant whining of greedy children to the bipolar teachers of high school. If anyone asked me what I hated the most about school, the answer was and will forever be homework. My hatred for homework was so intense that I made it my duty to ruin even the thought of giving out homework throughout middle school. I gave homework the nickname of "The Labor" which would stand for the injustice applied by teachers when their goal is to make you do the busy work, "see what you know", then give you a failing grade because it wasn't up to their standards of knowing material. With the first assignment given, I simply wrote my name and turned it back in. My teacher questioned my disobedience asking why I thought this would be acceptable. My response blankly stated that my paper showed all of what I knew but she came back at me with the effort tactic.
