Video Games are Ruining our lives!!!!!

It is said that Apple’s Steve Jobs didn’t allow his children to play with Ipads at all.
The average kid watches 7 hours of television, video games, computers everyday. Children need to have restrictions on the time they spend a day playing video games. There have been many studies that show too much screen time leads to health concerns in kids. It causes kids to become addicted which then causes a decline in their academics. Children should have restrictions on video games because health concerns linked to too much screen time. The New England Journal of Medicine did a study in 2008 that showed one in four preschoolers are obese. Due to video games people are losing sleep, not eating well, and don’t get enough on reality. Kids are spending too much time on video games and too little time exercising. Research shows that in Scotland found recreational sitting meaning screen viewing is related to raised mortality and cardiovascular disease risk regardless of the amount of physical activity each person does. Early on screen media can lead to changes in the brain and stay that way for life which can cause people's life to be shortened

Video games can become addictive which will cause him/her to not do good in school. If you are watching TV and trying to do homework at the same time you will end up watching TV instead of doing homework, trust me I tried it once.
