Zakaria "children are like clay, we should raise them confident .To do this highlight their strengths and reinforce it"(2017). For instance, your not working through the situation with that child if you send them to time out every time its occurs. The child won't be able to work on their emotions with their self or others around them. This can cause internal angry with the child and can be a reason why they don’t listen. In moments like this those in charge should not highlight what they did wrong but highlight their strengths and the things does correctly. Letting them know what they did right. Also act the way they act because they know they will go to time out once there finished they can come back and do it over if they want to. Soon the child will eventually not like being friendly or talking and be around those because they won’t feel comfortable around
