They helped bring a difference to the world by raising awareness about third world countries. I disagree because other people could do the same, but they were not recognized like other celebrities. People who have done the same are not noticed by their work they have done on social media.
Celebrities should not be treated like heroes because they are like normal people with the world watching them since they have the spotlight. They are mostly seen as entertainment, like an escape from our boring lives and other celebrities are not always perfect like they seem on the camera, but some has had personal issues. We could all be like celebrities because they are just like some of us. We are all our own unique

“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles” (Christopher Reeve) Heroes don’t need to have superpowers like the ones you see in comics, heroes are ordinary people and they are all around you wherever you go. A hero shows signs of courage, fairness, and trustworthiness Heroes are courageous and lack fear. This shows that heroes aren’t afraid of any obstacles that may face them whether it is big or small. A good example of this is in the Odyssey, when Odysseus thrusted the stake into the big and bad Cyclops to save him and his men.…

Hero’s are everyday people that have done something for the greater good. A hero is a person who has gone out of their way to help or save something or someone from danger. The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines a hero as, a person, typically a man who is admired for having courage or having outstanding achievements (Merriam-Webster). In my opinion this book definition is wrong, because heroes aren’t just men. Heroes can range from being a small town sports team that just won a state championship or soldiers who saved a community from a terrorist group.…

“The simple acts of heroism are often overlooked-” (SB p.64). Sometimes we expect so much of our ideal hero that we do not consider the “simple acts” people do that may be thought of as heroic. Some may say that in our world there are no heroes, but the fact is nobody is purely good. Others may believe that the only real heroes are ones in comic books, yet on the news we hear the word “hero” on non-comic book related things, so this can’t be completely true. Heroes are humble when faced with challenges, they selflessly save others, and they are not done aiding until another’s well being is insured.…
