Catastrophic events occur daily. These events range in nature from natural disasters to terrorism. Mass murder and suicides are catastrophic events that are increasing in frequency of occurrence. The rate of mass murders has tripled since 2000. Studies show that they occur every 64 days. These events have devastating impact on the immediate surrounding as well as the community. One of the well-known mass shooting, Columbine, killed 13 people back in 1999 and is still highly discussed today. Almost two decades later, the most recent shooting in Orlando killed 49 people and injured 53. The statistics of these two shootings show the degree of severity has also increased over time along with the frequency and displays the need
