As most of you already know from experience alone, playing certain sports like football, and soccer tend to result in various injuries, ranging from bruises, to nagging aches, and pulled ligaments. In the past there has been multiple solutions to this issue and yet they all target the wrong audience and the wrong issues and which is why they ultimately fail or who’s impact is so small it’s a mere pin prick in the larger scheme of things. If we can establish stronger rules, protocols and educating everyone about prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, I believe that we can prevent many serious injuries from happening or becoming debilitating later in adulthood. We all cannot be the next Michael Jordan, Russell Wilson or Jose Conseco and parents and coaches need to remember that when pushing athletes to the limit. Athletes also need to learn the limits physically and emotionally within their own bodies.
