Why do baseball players use performance-enhancing drugs? We know that Major League Baseball players have been using performance-enhancing drugs. The real question here is why performance-enhancing drugs are bad for the sport. Do they affect baseball or do they make it more entertaining? Performance-enhancing drugs make baseball a better sport, should PEDs be legal in baseball? Why is there so much controversy? The offensive performance of hitters in baseball that have used steroids, is well above average than the hitters that have not used them.
