Alexis: What is your participant ID number?

Participant 1006: 1006.

Alexis: Thank you. Why did you decide to participate in the Metal Program?

Participant 1006: Primarily selfish reasons of managing my own stress and things like that. I know that was a focus and also the focus on the teaching. I was less interested in that, but I was curious about applications.

Alexis: How did you feel about your mindfulness before the program?

Participant 1006: I had played around a couple times with it, and I didn’t have any regular habits. I had played around with aps an things like that, but I wasn’t very experienced with it. I was aware of it in general, what the thinking

Some strategies to try and be more contextual about doing it, and strategies for improving your ability to do it. I think one of the things pointed out was that we were not going to necessarily be good at it right away, but I feel like it was evident that with practice and things you would get better at it.

Alexis: I am glad to hear that. How do you feel about your mindfulness behaviors after the program?

Participant 1006: I feel like I have a behavior now, which it good, but it is still difficult for to fit it in and it’s more about my schedule than that. It is more about just fitting it in general self-care type things. What was the question again?

Alexis: How do you feel about your mindfulness behaviors after the program?

Participant 1006: Otherwise, I feel like I have a tool set now, which is good. I will probably return to the Skis site and expand that toolset, or reinforce some things, and hopefully, as this semester winds downs, some things kind of wrap up, I can get into more regular international habit of it.
