Looking at someone and thinking you love them, is establishing your opinion of them from there looks. For example, in Romeo and Juliet, Romeo says, “Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne’er saw true beauty till this night,” (Source D). Romeo was just in love with Rosaline and now glancing at Juliet, he is transformed. Now he has never loved anyone and he has never seen beauty. Romeo is basing his life on a glimpse of Juliet. He has established his entire opinion of Juliet on what she looks like and he doesn't even realize that she is his enemy. Therefore, love at first sight is composed of looks and not personality. In conclusion, love at first sight isn't real just a fairytale. Love at first sight is probably exaggerated, it is just the idea of what the person wants, and is is based on looks. Love at first sight: it is a concept of extreme and immediate emotional attachment that many throughout time have claimed to have felt. It is the instantaneous attraction towards a person whom one has seen for the first time. Everyone is familiar with the notion of the emotion, but what is the psychology and science behind this instant waterfall of affection? Believe it or not, love has nothing to do with the heart; it takes place in the brain (though neuron caused symptoms such as an accelerated heart rate or sweaty palms could take place in the cardiovascular and palmar regions of the body, respectively). The stage has to be set perfectly for one to experience this ideal emotion; however, the one hundred percent factual causes behind the…

For example, Osgood hits on Daphne for the first time because he obviously is attracted to her looks, though when Daphne continues to reject his advances and let her personality shine through, Osgood sees that Daphne is more than just a dame and is someone he wants to hold onto for longer than just one night. His idea of the person he fell in love with upon seeing her that first time is significantly different from the (wo)man she turned out to be; in a way, this could still be interpreted to be an example of love at first sight, but because the initial character Osgood meets is not - at that time in the film - the true character of Daphne, it is a matter of growing to love both the inside and out. Joe is the same in that he falls for Sugar’s…
