The foremost of these miracles was when Jesus healed the centurion’s servant. Even though the centurion was not a Jew, and was a roman soldier who the Jews despised Jesus was willing to help him by saving his servant. Jesus did this to show that even non-Jews were invited into his kingdom and that, humility as displayed when the centurion said “Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldst enter under my roof: but only say the word, and my servant shall be healed.”(Mathew 8:8) was more important than what religion you had come form or where you were from. Another example of this was when Jesus healed the leper. When a leper approached Jesus and said “If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean” (), then he cured the man of his leprosy, even though being around lepers at that time was considered dangerous. Jesus did this to show people that like everyone else lepers are welcome in his kingdom and also that diseases were not punishments from God but just a sad part of the human condition. Jesus miracles showed that everyone is welcomed in his kingdom if they only listen to him.
Just like God gave man free will to obey in Eden, he gave men free will to believe in Jesus as Lord. Many saw the miracles of Christ, but not all believed. He could have overwhelmed people with violent miracles that would have forced everyone to follow, but this would not have been loving acceptance,
