Military Conquest allowed the Islamic tribes to expand also causing treaties to occur in the territory they conquered and Trade Routes to expand. According to Document B written in the 800s CE, the Muslim army gathered with 24,000 men against the 70,000 Greek men and was victorious against the conflict. When the Muslim army defeated the Greek men this allowed them to expand and later make taxes. In Document A it says “By the middle of the sixth century Mecca was prosperous and important”. This quote from Document C only tells how important and prosperous Mecca was in trading although it didn’t explain how important Mecca was for the religion, Islam. Document A comes from the McDougal World History book which is approved from the state and the author gives reasonable information in why Mecca was prosperous such as the camel trains heading north from the town of Aden to Mecca These factors show that this is a reliable source but only to show how prosperous the city of Mecca was getting by
