Why Did Humans Originate From North America

Decent Essays
Why are humans not originally from North America? The reason is because their was no land connection from Asia to America at the time. Another thing is that the people living in Asia probably had no idea that North America existed. This ment that they had no desire to go move across and live there. Finally, back then they probably had no clue how to build a boat to travel that far, so even if they did know North America was there their was once again their was no way of getting over there. The origin of all human beings can be traced back to Africa, with some of the earliest fossil remains having been found there. In fact, according to Rick Potts (2010), the fossils of early humans who lived between 2 and 6 million years ago all came entirely from Africa. Together, these bands of humans created some of the earliest forms of civilization in Africa. Groups of intelligent creatures that were able to accomplish relatively astonishing feats, such as the ability to communicate, interact with one another, and most importantly the ability learn and adapt. These traits played a key role in how early civilization developed, as the invention of new technology and the harsh conditions of Africa drastically affected the way they lived.…

The notion that all humans are descended from a select group of hunter-gatherers based in early east Africa is called Genealogy. While humans have been around for millions of years, the behaviorally modern human emerged between 100,000 and 300,000 years ago. What changed was our ability to have abstract thought. This is what separated us from animals that followed strictly their set behaviors. The earliest evidence of these abstractly thinking humans goes to Blombos Cave.…

Map is an important thing in our daily life today. We can not only using maps to figure out where the place is, but also just like the professor said in the video “it’s an amazing way to figuring out the history” . I do agree this statement because before Ferdinand Magellan circumnavigated the world, people do not realize that Earth is a ball not flat. When people read the map, then they can learn the history of the “Age of Discovery” in the 16th cemetery. Maps may be very different at the different time.…

Intro Modern human evolution has changed dramatically over thousands even millions of years. Recently, researchers have identified a newly proven ancestor to modern humans whom are Neanderthals. Looking at archaic DNA and comparing it with non-African modern human DNA, it is clear to see that we share a great deal of common genetic information with Neanderthals than researchers first thought. With extensive research, researchers and scientists have been able to pinpoint genetic differences and similarities between these two species. History About 155,000 years ago, the Homo sapien has arisen from previous ancestors such as the archaic H. sapien and H. erectus (Rodrigues, 2012).…

After that men left the African, spread out to the red oceans zone where the water lever lower. Homo sapiens grew first in Africa and after that spread the world over somewhere around 100 and 200,000 years back, superseding all other primate species. That individuals in China plummeted from the Homo erectus population. The effective "out of Africa" movement has by and large been put at 60,000 years back taking into account mitochondrial hereditary qualities, however this model has as of late been challenged by recreations of mitochondrial DNA information. Mitochondrial DNA and Y-chromosomal DNA are especially valuable in decoding mankind's history, information on the genomes of many populations.…

The human race begins roughly around 2.4 million years ago, and is disbursed throughout Africa, Asia, and Europe. It is from the Homo ergaster, who remained in Africa, however, that evolved into Homo sapiens. Moreover, natural selection is the outcome of species who survived by adapting to global climate changes during migration process, thereby producing offspring and strengthening their kind in the evolutionary process. It was fifteen thousand years ago, an immense migration of people made its way across the Bering Strait, and not until 10,000 B.C. that the first humans reached the arid North American continent otherwise known as Aridoamerica. The first settlers were nomadic, learning to survive by hunting large terrestrial mammals as well…

Understanding the spread of early modern humans has been a question many anthropologists and archeologists have been try to answer. There are two main theories discussing the spread of early modern humans: Out of Africa Theory and Multiregional Evolution Theory. The Out of Africa Theory suggests that Homo erectus evolved into Homo sapiens in Africa, and after the evolution, they ventured out of Africa and dispersed to all around the world. The Multiregional Evolution Theory suggests that Homo erectus ventured out of Africa and then evolved into modern man in several different locations throughout the world. These two theories both try to offer an understanding of how and when modern humans evolved and dispersed across the world, but in order…
