Adolf Hitler was the leader of Nazi Germany. After he served in World War 1 Hitler rose to the top of the German government by the National Socialist German Workers Party, he was in the presidential election in 1932, where he placed second losing to Paul von Hindenburg by 7 million votes. In 1933 Hitler won the election sparking the beginning of Nazi Germany. One of the first things Hitler did in power was ban all other political parties, to stay in power. The first concentration camp opened in Dachua to house political prisoners, political parties that were against the Nazi party.
