Why Did African Americans Worth Fight For?

Throughout history, there were multiple times where leaders, kings, and the people asked the question of; what’s worth fight for? Even in today’s world leaders and normal every day people ask this question at least once in their lives. Although we still ask this question, back then, it had more significance to the people and leaders. For them, the freedom of slavery, independence and the beginning of industrialization was worth fight for to them.

Slavery was one of the reasons people fought. Freedom from being held captive without any sort of security, nourishment, or freedom. It was estimated that 12 million African people were taken and shipped over to the Americas so they could serve the needs of the wealthy, which were much more important than the people who did the services of the rich. People started to see that manual labour was hard and need a lot of people which needed to be paid in or for the workers to stay and crop or create the product. Once the inventors start to create machines that could speed up the work and would require fewer people, owners knew that it would be better to get multiple and have people running them. This increased the number of jobs that would help the economy of the country and help families out of “poverty” and have enough food to feed their families. The cotton industry was in full swing once the spinning jenny was created. It brought money into the industry and created an easier way of labor where the workers weren’t in harsh conditions like in the fields. The consequences for the creation of industrialization had a positive outcome. It created jobs and brought money into the economy. Factories and warehouses are such important pieces in the modern world now. If it wasn’t for the industrial revolution, we wouldn’t be here and living the way we are
