Why College Isn T For Everyone Essay

Both of the articles, “Is college worth it?” and “Why college isn’t for everyone” state in one-way or another that college is a good idea. When we are young we tend to have people in our lives that ask you “What do you want to be when you’re older?” Most of the time we know what we want to do but we never think about if that job is going to make is successful or if we are going to earn enough money to live a good life. We just say what we want to be and that’s it. We have big dreams and high hopes only to find out that college is going to cost us a lot. We then realize how hard it is to get into college. It’s crazy! College is unfair because if you come from a low-income family you might qualify for financial aid that might pay for more then half of your total college cost. Now days you really do need a 4-year degree to make a good amount of money to be finically stable. It may be true that some graduates with a 4-year degree don’t make as much as the should or are unable to find jobs, but if the graduate was to try really hard and have strong ambitions to beat everyone else in that particular field they would not have a problem find a good job.
