Why College Athletes Should Not Get Paid

Samuel Johnson once said-” Nothing will ever be attempted if all possible objections must first be overcome” (“Career Development Quotes | 38 Ways to Feel Inspired”). College athletes should not get paid because it affects the people that don't get paid in college. Although when college athletes get paid it can help with their career, this research may be true college athletes should not get paid Research proves this point, student athletes are provided with multiple types of resources to help them be successful (Laurence). We shouldn’t pay college athletes because it is not what college is about, it could cause and create cuts in the college, and finally, but importantly, it causes the players to think they are everything.

The most important reason that college players shouldn't get paid is because, quite frankly, that is not what college is about.
