For instance, schools can save money by having students use their personal cell phones instead of the school buying hundreds of computers for the students to use, (Source 4). For example, the students can use their personal mobile device as a research a tool. This can cause schools to have an influx of money for other school related activities. Such as field trips and sports. In this case, schools could use cell phones to their advantage, instead of having to install storage units/special lockers to put cell phones in. To continue, schools would have to spend thousands of dollars on lockers when they could put that money towards a better and safer school environment, (Source 3). If the school focuses on banning cell phones they would lose more money than if they were to implant cell phones into their daily curriculum and use the money for something more important. Lastly, schools could save money by using teens cell phones as a way to access textbooks or other ebooks,(source 3). Instead of buying hard copies that students have to carry around all day and take care of. Students would save money just in case they were to lose a textbook and have to pay the school for a new one.
