The authors’ purpose for writing this article is to grasp better understanding on why evidence-based practice and research still has a lot of reforming and updating to do. There was a noticeable lack in proper evidence-based practice and research by medical professionals which appears to be the primary reason that the authors of this article felt guided to provide reasoning and practice techniques to correct this problem. These authors also wanted to display how effective using evidenced-based research is so that medical professionals are best equipped when conducting their own studies and providing the best quality care available for patients.
