Why Beowulf Is An Epic Hero

Although we do not know who wrote Beowulf, he is an epic hero. Finally, Beowulf is faithful to the king and his people and to the men who work for him. Beforehand, he tries to fight or slaughter any of the beasts he encounters, he tries to make sure his guys will be helped and given any and everything they desire. Beowulf is King to them and they declare their loyalty to him. He is accountable for his people, and he embraces his end of the deal. Beowulf is paid by one of his men who slays the dragon once it was seriously injured thanks to Beowulf himself. His men also uplifted him after he died, by remembering him as the grand king he has confirmed himself to be.
