Why Be In Band In High School

My teachers have chose or suggested what core classes I should take. Now I get to choose what extracurricular activity's I want to take. I'm doing band and business power point and word.
Band takes up two spots on our paper so I can only pick two. For dentistry science or Health science would be the potions I should take. I will not play sports at our High School. I will do marching band but that is not a sport.

My plans for my G.P.A. is keep it at a passing or reasonable level. I'm going to do English honors witch will help with my G.P.A. I would like to get a scholarship in band. Witch will also one of y extracurricular activity's. Over the years of being in band in middle and High School I will get better with my instrument.
