Why do we bite our nails? It's something we have all somehow encountered along the way of life. As babies, the first thing we do is put our hands or things into our mouth. A nasty little habit all parents have had to help a little one break along the way. How can you help your little one understand that biting their nails is not only a bad habit but dangerous to their health because it increases their chances of illness? Well, how about a little old school nursery rhyme?
First easy rhyming words such as:
Wash hands well each day,
To keep germs away.
Scrub with soap and water,And be on your way. are great to help kids to understand that when they do not wash their hands, then they put their fingers into their mouth to bite their nails, they
