Why are Videogame Players Perceived Negatively?
Videogames are a great way to entertain ourselves when we need something visual, interactive and fun. Those who play videogames understand this and have pt many hours into this form of electronic entertainment. We know that there are benefits to playing videogames even if there are others out there who do not understand this or do not wish to understand this. We have been playing them as children and we still enjoy playing them today. Unfortunately there are still many people out there who see videogame players as people who are immature or irresponsible and that videogames are toys for little children and not for people past a certain age. They do not seem to understand how far videogames have come or many of the mature themes that they tackle or how they can be used to further education for college students.

One of the biggest advantages that playing videogames has is that they can allow you to connect with other people across the world and play games with them in a virtual environment. Another major advantage is that by playing videogames you can greatly improve your hand and eye coordination. A third advantage is that videogames allow people to have a temporary escape from reality when they have had a difficult day or when they have spent the day studying and doing their homework and they just need a chance to relax and blow off some steam. One final advantage is that videogames can be used for the purposes of education in that they can often give the gamers ideas and help them to become more creative. This is helpful when taking English classes and you are expected to write original stories. You can also play puzzle and strategy games and these will help you to develop critical thinking skills which will help you in some of your
