Well my teacher has assigned this topic in my school, and I have a few reasons why they important to me and are nation. I have five main reasons they are important. The main reasons they are important is that they are role models, they give us life values and respect, tell us the true story of war, and fight for our freedom. Veterans are great role models to the youth of America from the past and in the future. They become role model because the military molds them into great men and women. Then they are discharged. When discharge these men and women go into the public and become are role …show more content…
These values they teach us will stay with us for the rest of our life. Some of the values are respect, trust, and family important. Respect is important to all people and should be given and received. Respect is when you treat others well and do as they won’t you to do. Veterans earn their respect by being brave, fighting in wars, and by just being older than us. Respecting someone can get you far in life, but make sure others respect you as well. Another life value is trust. Trust is a great value because if you trust someone you feel safe with them. Veterans had to trust a lot of people that fought next to them on the battlefield. Trust is a big part of our families in the U.S.A and in our workplace. The last important value they teach us is the importance of family. When veterans were in the battlefield all they thought about was there family and home. Family was important to them because it gave them hope to live and to make it home. They try to teach the youth of America this value because some kids are mean and don’t care about family. But you can be mean and hate your family but they will always be there. Veterans love their family and and will keep them close whenever on the …show more content…
This is a very important to us because without them we wouldn’t be the country we are today. They fought to free people in WWII and fought in Iran to keep us safe from terrorist. They risk their lives for ours without even knowing who we are. They will fight for their country in or out of it whenever the military calls for them at the drop of a pen. Most of these men and women live for the military and will do anything for their country. Even after getting out of the military some of them go into the secret services. They risk their life for the man that runs our country. they will even take a bullet for this man if needed

Luckily, Congress made Armistice Day a national holiday so we have a set day to celebrate our veterans. The question being asked of me is “Why Veterans are Important to Our Nation’s History and Future?” Veterans are important to me because I live with two of them and I have a lot of them in my family. Without them, I wouldn’t know the reason why we have people sacrificing themselves for our country. My Grandpa, Roy Noble, always said that “War is not good but fighting for our country is,” I didn’t really understand that until I realized without them we wouldn’t have a free country. Britain would have taken over and we would have a queen instead of a president, or something like that.…

Veterans are a group of people that write a blank check totaling their life to the government. They fight to defend our country and every American citizen. Then when their service is done they come home to be unnerved and underappreciated. Veterans are: mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, and friends. The main thing we should do is make them known to others, so they know that we are there for them and let them know their service is more than appreciated, and we should let them know that and not let them be forgotten.…
