Freedom is the ability to dream. Freedom is the ability to do whatever I want and be whomever I want. Freedom, as the word states, is the ability to be free. By looking through the past years, especially as a women, some freedoms were not available for all people, sure those stated in the Constitution have always been inevitable but other have had restrictions and oppressive actions set upon them. But with fighting and persistence, americans fought for what was right and they fought for their freedom, and as a result more freedoms have been blessed upon the United States citizens. They do not realize that everyday people risk their lives, and sometimes lose their lives, to either try to receive the same freedoms or in order for these freedoms to be kept. But as americans, we should learn to value what we have. We should learn to value the free public education we are all granted as citizens and we should cherish that opportunity. We should value that chance and use it to its fullest extent. We should use this freedom and we should try to extend it to all; helping those who do not have those same advantages.
For me freedom is the chance to dream and for the ability to achieve these goals, whether it be something very simple, to american standards, as getting an education, or even a dream as big as pursuing my dream career.
