Why Are The British Taxes So High

Many patriots such as myself are unhappy with the current British government. Taxes are high, and we still have no representation. Everything seems like it’s unfair right now, and for many, that’s enough reason to go to war. But for those willing to wait, don’t jump the gun yet, and changes will come.

The reason the British taxes are so high is because they just got done fighting a war. War is expensive and Britain is trying to stay out of debt by raising money as quick as possible. It may be to the cost of others, but it is still a rational decision.

But what about representation? You get taxed majorly but still have no representation. That’s obviously still a problem, there’s no denying that. You still have a right to protest, and that
