All That Glitters Lab In this lab, my lab partners and I were trying to prove that pennies that was made before the year 1982 is more dense than the pennies made now due to the materials used in the pennies we used now versus the materials we used before 1982. In order to prove that the pennies in 1982 is more dense than the pennies we currently have, we used a graduated cylinder to calculate the volume of both the pennies before and after 1982 as well as the unknown metal sample. We also used a weigh boat to determine the mass of the pennies before and after 1982 and the unknown metal sample. After we divided the mass of the pennies and the metal sample to their volume using
