In any situation, being aware nonverbal communication is essential when traveling between cultures, or even from city to city, so people are not affected in negative ways. This paper will first develop an understanding on what exactly nonverbal communication and intercultural communication is, then how not being aware of nonverbal communication can cause problems when traveling through different cultures around the world and in the everyday life. There is a problem but it is not a world ending issue. People are human and make mistakes so if there is a problem then the person has a chance to fix them. This problem is prevalent because it is more of a helpful tip for travelers around the world. The harms with the problem are not worse than expected.
