Should calculators be allowed in school? Calculators should be allowed in math class. They are kinda like a crutch. When you need them they're there to help. Some calculators are really helpful if you need to see how to work out the problem. The calculator will list out how to solve the equation. Like the calculator called YHomework it lists out and shows how to solve and do the equation.Also teachers can show their students the different patterns between the numbers and show complex problems that are in everyday life. Calculators are really helpful when it comes to visualizing the equation. When using a calculator some students are able to make connections with the numbers. Meaning there able to see how to work the problem better. Like when it comes to fractions calculators can do those type of equations to. So the student may be able to see how the fraction work when it comes to multiplying,dividing,subtracting and or adding. Also when doing algebra problems that involve letters the calculator will plug in the correct number helping the student or students trying to do the math equation. …show more content…
This is because not all students are spectacular at math and or actually like math for that matter. Many students do not like math so using calculators I guess you could say it is like a toy in math and makes things more interesting but not just because it has buttons. But because then the student actually gets the answer right so then they're like yay I am smart and the student doesn't have to worry or be paranoid about getting the answer wrong instead they can be more focused and interact more with their classmates. Also children that start out using calculators at a younger age tend to find calculators more effective and easy to use in their everyday
