One important reason that animals involved in fighting should be taken away from their owners is because they become more aggressive to people because the previous owners treated them poorly and stressed them out. According to the american society for the prevention of cruelty to animals “Many people who participate in these fights lack even a semblance of respect for the animals, often starving and beating them to encourage aggressive behaviors”.
