First of all, the author of the reading passage states that the Anasazi were attacked because other tribes desired the plentiful water and fertile land that the Anasazi occupied. However, the professor contradicts this point by arguing that the Anasazi suffered by a drought, and needed to leave their own lands. In a few years, their population was increased ten times, so it puts high pressure of the water supply.
Another point the author makes in the reading is that the Anasazi left a lot of precious things when escaping hurry from their
