Quit Smoking Now Americans are probably the most impatient people on planet earth. They are so impatient that they all want everything yesterday already. They can not just calm down and take a breather for a couple minutes. When Americans want everything so fast and do not get a break they get crabby and stressed out. They then have to do something to try and get rid of all that stress. Some deal with their stress by going for walks. Others deal with it by working on something else or reading a book. Yet there are others that choose to deal with it dangerously. Some Americans turn to smoking, yes smoking. Americans should stop smoking because it tears down the human body with each puff smokers take. Smoking diminishes people's bank accounts and almost every organ in a human body. If smokers were to stop spending money on smokes and rid themselves of cigarettes, then America would stop selling the nasty product and there would not be a problem anymore. "Cigarettes are a perfectly legal product and as long as they are a legal product then adults should be able to make a normal consumer choice" (Duffy). This quote by Duffy is saying that Americans will not stop smoking because the product is still available to them. If the government and them the people of the United States would take cigarettes off the market it would help people quit. Smokers would not be able to get cigarettes so they would then have to go without. If this plan would work it would be very beneficial for smokers. People who smoke cigarettes spend about 177 dollars a week. That is a lot of money that just gets puffed in and blown out into the air. That weekly bill of money than adds up to about 9,200 dollars a year. If people would stop smoking, they would save so much more money. That is almost enough money to buy a nice car. Smoking is an expensive habit that needs to stop
