The primary reason I believe I scored “pro-white”, is because at the starting point of the test, the left side consisted of African Americans and words that were related to “bad” stigmas. Being the left handed person that I am, when the topics switched positions I naturally pressed the key on the left. I generally hardly ever use my right besides typing. I do not think that the Implicit Association Test tells us anything that we do not already know ourselves. If we honestly are somewhat “favoring a particular race”, if you will, we clearly don’t need a computer generated test to determine this for us. So I do not think this test is very legitimate at all.
