With health issues etc. The mother may not be able to afford having a baby at the moment but that does not mean that the baby needs to be killed. The mother can always have the baby up for adoption or foster care. They can even help a couple that is not able to have kids. The mother will cost for for the abortion to get rid of the baby then to put the baby in good care. If the mother has an abortion she should be punished, because it is not right that they kill innocent little baby’s. God says that “ You shall not murder” you should not murder any human that is innocent. It also is unfair if a mother that killed a baby gets no jail time and a older man or women gets jail time for murder. Abortion needs to stop, because it is not right to kill a baby for the mothers mistakes. The baby did nothing wrong , even if you are not in a right position to have a baby, but if you know of someone who can’t have babies and you want to help then you can have them adopt your baby so the baby has a great home and is taken great care of. You can also give the baby up for adoption. Abortion can be stopped if you always look for other options instead of just killing a baby. That is why abortion is wrong and needs to stop

I am pro-choice, but not because I do not value human life, and most certainly not because I hate children. I believe that human life is of the utmost importance, but I also think that women’s rights are essential. It is not inhumane, or unfair for women to seek out an abortion, it is their medical decision, and it is their right to have control over their own body. People state that the mother could simply give the child up for adoption, but that may not be the best option, and there are a number of reasons as to why someone would seek out an abortion. Pregnancies can be extremely costly, and the mother may be unable to afford to keep the child.…

This accounts for about 1/4 of all pregnancies. “Approximately 1/3 of American women have had an abortion by age 45” (Guttmatcher). Motherhood should never be a punishment. Abortion is a fundamental right and should stay legal in all places for all people. A common misconception about abortion is that the child is able to feel being aborted and that it hurts the fetus. But what people do not know is that the child is actually not able to feel pain until around the twentieth week of gestation. Studies show that less than two percent of abortions occur after twenty weeks.…

Worldwide, approximately 42 million abortions occur per year that’s approximately 115,000 per day. In the United States, 1.21 million abortions occurred in the year of 2005, which roughly comes out to be 3 per day (4). Moreover, 1% of all abortions occur because of rape or incest, 6% of abortions occur because of potential health problems with either the mother or the child, and 93% of all abortions occur for social reasons (4). Ending an unborn baby’s life is not constituted by choice—no, it’s constituted by deliberate murder. First and foremost, slaughtering an unborn baby via abortion is wrong because an unborn baby is still biologically considered a human being.…

As any social issue, abortions are one of the many topics that everyone seems to have an opinion on. According to the 2012 Merriam-Webster dictionary, an abortion is, “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus as a spontaneous expulsion of a human fetus during the first 12 weeks of gestation--miscarriage, the induced expulsion of a human fetus, or the expulsion of a fetus by a domestic animal often due to infection at any time before completion of pregnancy.” (Elliot) Abortions; like every controversial issue, will most likely never be agreed upon by the human race. In the midst of the controversy, two groups have arose.…

Along with all the problems of our country, abortions are one of the most spoke on topics. The government is indecisive of whether to make it illegal or keep the current standings brought by the Supreme Court case, Roe vs Wade. I understand that we humans; are beings like any other, who repeatedly make mistakes, but I do not agree with the final resort of taking a life because of an avoidable mistake. Our youth should be taught how to prevent the possibility of pregnancy because they aren’t mature enough, financially equip, nor independent enough to take on the title of being a parent. The ones who get pregnant at a young age use abortions as “Plan C” when they don’t think before they act.…

Abortion is murder and should be seen as a sin. God said “You have heard that the ancients were told ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER.’ and whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.” (The Lockman Foundation, The Bible, New Testament, 1997,3,Matthew 5:21.) Abortion should be illegal because a woman would be committing murder of an unborn child.…

A study says “in 2011, the latest year for which data are available, the abortion rate was 16.9 per 1,000 women ages 15-44 years, according to a national survey by the New York-based Guttmacher Institute, a research organization that supports abortion rights” (Wanlund). So if the abortion rate is low, why should society illegalize it? Many people are on either side of this argument; however, on the side fighting pro-choice is the most popular side. People on this side commonly are feminists and people who fight for equality among all genders. A poll states “U.S. abortion rate continues to decline from its peak in 1980, seven years after the Supreme Court established a constitutional right to abortion in Row vs. Wade.”…
